Samantha's first taste of ice cream

Samantha's new favorite food is ice cream. At first she wasn't sure of the ice cream, but in the end she loved it!

Dinner for two?

So Nick's Aunt Deni got us started on ear candeling. It's supposed to help with vertigo, allergies, hearing loss, etc. So we tried it one night and invited John to join in on the fun.

This is what came out of our ears. It's super gross! The top left-hand side is from Nick's ears, the top right-hand side is John's ears, and the bottom right side is my ears. I must say my ears do feel better.

Bags and Baby!

Last Saturday the Williams' hosted bag and baby! We got to meet Drake Williams and he is perfect. It's amazing how the BBQ's quickly change once there are kids involved. It was a great time. Thanks again Brandon and Megan for having us all over!

9 Months

I first want to apologize to everyone for being horrible at updating this blog. I promise that one of these days I'll get it together and update it at least once a month. Surprise, surprise that Samantha and I went to Target and got more photos taken. Here are Miss Samantha's 9 month photos. She is getting so big!

Also, Samantha had surgery on Monday and she is doing great. She acts like she didn't even have a procedure done. She went in for surgery at 8:15 a.m. and we were on our way home by 9:35 a.m. The doctor said nothing looks anatomically incorrect, so we are now going to start testing for allergies. Yeah, more doctors and tests, but hopefully we will find out what is making her so sick. Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and prayers.

Sami's 6 month photos

Yesterday Sami and I went to Target and got her 6 month photos taken. She did a great job and was super cute. She is getting so big. And as you can tell from the pictures, she doesn't have a weight problem anymore!

Sami's 1st Super Bowl

Sami had to get dressed up for the Super Bowl in her cheerleader outfit. If you can't tell from the pictures, she is teething and drooling all the time. Apparently she didn't want to smile for the camera!

What a fun weekend!

This weekend we just hung around the house, but we had a great time. I tried making baby food from scratch. Yes, I know that is shocking, but I really enjoyed it. I made green beans, squash, and pears. So far Sami loves all of it. Sami also tried to feed herself this weekend and that didn't work out very well.

Since feeding herself was such hard work, she took a nap after she was done eating!

6 months

We have reached a major milestone. Samanth is now able to sit up all by herself! It will just be a matter of weeks before she starts crawling. She is doing baby push-ups and planks, army crawling, and rolling all over the place. Sami is trying more foods and is really starting to like them. She is not liking formula though. We are having a battle with that, but I hope that will soon be over.

All in all, things are great with the Hague family. Nick is liking his job and my business is going well too.

Peas!?!

Sami tried her first veggie the other day. We started with peas and what a mess that was! She liked them the first day, but every other time we have tried to give them to her she's not too excited about them.
